Catherine Spiker, D.O.

Dr. Catherine Spiker is from Birmingham, Alabama where she attended Birmingham-Southern College for undergrad while playing Division 1 soccer. She attended Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Duluth, Georgia for medical school. She then completed a residency in Jacksonville, Florida at St. Vincent Family Medicine. Dr. Spiker is board certified with the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Spiker is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Osteopathic Association and the American Board of Family Medicine. She has special interests in treating chronic disease, osteopathic manipulation and women's health care.

Following her residency, she married Dr. Rajkamal Harricharan Singh and moved to Newport, Tennessee. In her spare time, she enjoys playing soccer and hiking.

Rajkamal Harricharan Singh, D.O.

Dr. Raj Harricharan Singh was raised in Parrottsville, Tennessee. He attended ETSU for undergrad where he got his bachelor’s degree in science, minoring in Early Child Development. He completed medical school in Atlanta at PCOM-GA and then completed his residency training at Floyd Family Medicine in Rome, Georgia. He is Board Certified in Osteopathic Family Medicine and particularly enjoys manual and sports medicine.Dr. Harricharn Singh is a certified National DOT examiner.

Dr. Harricharan Singh maintains membership in the American Osteopathic Association.

After completing his residency, Dr. Harricharan Singh returned to Newport to provide care to his hometown. When he’s not working, he likes to hike, garden and cook Mediterranean food.

Kabir Harricharan Singh, M.D.

Dr. Kabir Harricharan Singh was raised in Parrottsville, Tennessee and went to ETSU, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in chemistry, minoring in Religious Study. From there, he attended the University of Tennessee Medical School in Memphis, and he completed his Residency in Family Medicine at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and enjoys the many aspects of family practice.

Dr. Harricharan Singh is a member of many organizations, including the American Academy of Family Physicians, Free Market Medical Association, Association of American Physicians and Surgeons and the American Board of Family Medicine.

During his free time, Dr. Harricharan Singh enjoys long distance hiking/backpacking, cooking, gardening and studying Austrian economics.

Michael T. Hood, M.D.

hood.jpgDr. Michael Hood graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Memphis. Dr. Hood completed his internship and residency in Family Practice at East Tennessee State University – James H. Quillen College of Medicine in Bristol. He is Board Certified in Family Practice and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Hood practiced emergency medicine for 30 years, and he was an assistant clinical professor at two medical schools for 15 years. He is one of the founding physicians of Family Practice Center where he has practiced since 1982. Dr. Hood is skilled in making difficult diagnosis, outpatient dermatological surgery, lesion removal, emergency medicine and rheumatology.

In his spare time, Dr. Hood volunteers with the Boy Scouts and enjoys wine making. He is an examiner for the F.A.A. for pilot physicals, and he is currently president of the Newport Theatre Guild and enjoys wine making as owner of the Goodwater Vineyard..

David H. McConnell, M.D.

mcconnell.jpgDr. David McConnell graduated from the University of Tennessee Center of Health Sciences, Memphis. He completed his residency at Baroness-Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga. He is Board Eligible in Family Practice and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. McConnell is a past president of the Tennessee Academy of Family Physicians. He is a member of the Tennessee Medical Association serving on the committee for Continuing Education and the American Medical Association. He is formerly an instructor at the University of Tennessee Center of Health Sciences, Department of Family Practice. He also serves as Cocke County Medical Examiner, Medical Review Officer, and as a certified National DOT examiner

During his free time, Dr. McConnell loves watching Atlanta Braves baseball and fly fishing.

David J. Kickliter, M.D.

kickliter.jpgDr. David Kickliter graduated from the University of Tennessee Center of Health Sciences. Dr. Kickliter completed his internship with the Gadsden Memorial Hospital Family Practice Program, a division of the University of Alabama. He completed his Family Practice Residency at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Dr. Kickliter is Board Certified in Family Practice.

He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Tennessee Medical Association and the American Medical Association.

He is a former clinical instructor for the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences in Knoxville.

When he’s not working, Dr. Kickliter enjoys pheasant hunting, basketball and taking care of his grandkids!

Jennifer Eisenhower, F.N.P.

eisenhower.jpgJennifer Eisenhower graduated from Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, and continued there for her Master of Science in Nursing. Jennifer is licensed with the State of Tennessee as an Advanced Practice Nurse and Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is also a certified National DOT examiner.

In her free time, Jennifer volunteers with Relay for Life and enjoys life on the lake.
