We believe our combination of highly skilled staff, leading-edge technology and time-proven treatment methods will ensure that you are receiving the highest standard of care. Our practice strives to stay on the cutting-edge of the latest advancements in family medicine. We offer a wide range of services for patients of all ages, including:

Laboratory Services

  • CBC (Complete Blood Count) – measures the number of blood cells and the type
  • CRP (C-reactive Protein) – measures inflammation in your blood
  • CPK (Creatinine Phosphokinase) – measures inflammation in your muscles
  • Kidney Function Tests (Creatinine and BUN) – measure the health of your kidneys
  • Liver Function Tests (AST and ALT) – measure the health of your liver
  • Joint Fluid Testing – determines if you have an infection or inflammation of the joint

X-ray Services

X-rays can be used to view any part of the body, such as a joint or major organ system. In a conventional X-ray, also called a radiograph, a technician passes a concentrated burst of low-dose ionized radiation through the body and onto a photographic plate. Since calcium in bones absorbs X-rays more easily than soft tissue or muscle, the bony structure appears white on the film. Any vertebral misalignment or fractures can be seen within minutes. Tissue masses, such as injured ligaments or a bulging disc, are not visible on conventional X-rays.

Laceration Repair

If you experience a minor cut or abrasion that requires medical treatment, avoid long wait times and high treatment costs of the emergency room by visiting our office. You will receive the highest standard of care in a timely manner that will help you get on the road to recovery as quickly as possible.

Urgent Care

Urgent care provides an efficient, more affordable alternative to the emergency room. We focus on the treatment of conditions that require prompt attention, but are not life-threatening.

If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

Dermatology

We offer mole removal services, and we can excise, or cut, your mole off. We also use cryotherapy. Cryotherapy involves using liquid nitrogen to perform cryosurgery to freeze off lesions, such as skin tags, moles and skin cancer. If your mole is non-cancerous, there is no need to remove it other than aesthetic purposes.

If one of your nails has recurring fungal infections, this can cause a portion or the entire nail to die. If this happens, we can surgically remove the nail fairly quickly in the comfort of our office. You will receive an injection in the finger or toe so you won’t feel anything. The nail is then loosened from the surrounding skin, and the doctor will place a tool between the nail and skin in order to remove the nail. After the procedure, an antibiotic will be applied and the wound will be bandaged.

Women’s Health

  • Gynecology

Bone Densitometry Test (DEXA Scan)

A DEXA scan is a bone X-ray used to diagnose, or determine the potential development of, osteoporosis. The results are usually returned as a series of numbers: a T Score and a Z Score. The T Score indicates how dense your bones are compared to an average healthy patient in their 20’s (when bone density is usually the strongest). The Z Score indicates the density of your bones compared to the average density of patients in your age group.

Weight Loss Management

We take a sensible approach to weight management that has been proven safe and highly effective. We work with each patient to develop a personalized treatment plan to meet his or her specific needs. Using our physician-supervised weight management program, we are confident we will get you on the right track to healthy eating and successful weight loss.

DOT Physicals

Any driver who operates a vehicle weighing or carrying more than 10,001 pounds in interstate commerce is required to have a DOT physical examination. A Medical Examination Report or a Medical Examiner’s Certificate must be filled out and signed by your doctor. This form is valid for 24 months. During the physical, the doctor will go over your medical history with you and discuss and medical issues you may be experiencing. A physical examination will also take place to ensure that the driver is fit to operate a motor vehicle.

Sports Physicals

A sports physical will determine if your child is physically fit enough to perform certain activities. Many sport organizations and schools require a physical exam prior to your child’s participation in a sport. When you visit our office for a sports physical, you can often expect that we will review your health history as well as discuss your family’s health history.

Drug Testing

Some employers request a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. Our drug screening is able to identify several types of drugs, including cannabinoids (THC, marijuana); cocaine; amphetamines (methamphetamine); phencyclidine (PCP); and opiates (Oxycodone, Vidcodin, codeine, morphine, etc.).

Our Breath Alcohol Testing is performed onsite, delivering negative results within just 30 minutes. If a positive result is found, a second test is required.
